«Sinister Person» explores the anxiety that arises from the alteration of the human image. The distorted face, vacant gaze, and unnatural smile create an effect of unsettling uncertainty. On the black t-shirt, dark areas of the image dissolve into the fabric, so it appears as if only the illuminated part of the face emerges. The central placement of the print transforms the figure into direct visual contact with the viewer.
