«Kaurka’s Adventures» is a children’s comic created as part of a competition organized by the «VOLIN» Educational Center in collaboration with the IT College of GBPOU Moscow, for the cultural and educational project «Kaurka.»
The work is executed in digital graphics with a rich color palette, built upon the signature colors of «VOLIN.» Kaurka, as a character, maintains the recognizability established by the project.
The comic is based on a simple yet charming story: Kaurka is painting a client’s car when he suddenly realizes his brushes are missing. Panic ensues, followed by a search—and an unexpected solution: he uses his own tail as a brush. The originality here operates on two levels. First, it rejects the «proper» hero: Kaurka doesn’t defeat a villain or save the world—he manages to navigate a mundane, almost working situation. Second, it reflects honest childhood logic: the solution isn’t found through strength or a gadget, but through quick thinking and self-acceptance. Children instantly grasp this twist, which elicits laughter—and laughter, as we know, is the best guide to learning. The comic is fully integrated into the visual language of the «VOLIN» brand:
-Signature Character. Kaurka is an established symbol of the project, and in the comic, he functions as the primary carrier of the identity.
-Color Palette. The saturated colors, anchored by the «VOLIN» corporate palette, keep the comic recognizable even when separated from other materials.
-Digital Graphics. The clean digital lines, solid fills, and bright colors align with the style and aesthetic of the «Kaurka» project. The comic’s tone is friendly, playful, and non-didactic. Kaurka doesn’t lecture; he simply finds himself in a situation and handles it. This is exactly the tone that «VOLIN» conveys: respect for work, calm confidence, and a readiness to help. The story doesn’t frighten children with the complexity of the adult world. Instead, it says: «Look, even if something is lost, a way out will be found.»
