The action unfolds on the outskirts of a small coastal village where the lives of the locals have been intrinsically tied to fishing for generations.

There is almost nothing here—just two houses, a few boats, and the endless sea.

But one day, the sea begins to recede. Boats get stuck on the exposed seabed, the fish vanish, and with them, the fisherman’s familiar world crumbles.

Where there was once a boundless expanse of water, a barren desert now stretches out.
