Theo van Dusburg is one of the most influential artists and theorists of the twentieth century whose creativity has left an indelible mark in the development of abstraction, architecture and design. His art became the foundation of the De Stijl movement, which had a profound impact on subsequent generations of artists, architects and designers.

/ These books present my training projects on the analysis and interpretation of van Dusburg’s creative path. Each project was designed to study its philosophy.

The book consists of two volumes, each of which reveals the different stages of Theo van Dusburg’s creative journey. The first volume is written in blue and dedicated to a later period of his work, the time when the artist began to depart from the rigid canons of neoplasticism. Blue is not random in this context: it symbolizes freedom, openness to experiment, and the personal evolution of Dusburg as an artist and a theoretician. The volume includes projects carried out in the spirit of architectural expressionism, elements of dynamics, works in which Dusburg understood industrial space and new forms of visual language.
The second volume, carried out in a calm gray gamma, focuses on the early stage of Dusburg’s creative work — the timing of his artistic vision. Here are projects carried out under the influence of cubeism, expressionism and the initial phase of neoplasticism. The colour decision reflects the anality, restraint and structural severity of the period. Both volumes represent not only a visual archive, but also a study of the author ' s artistic logic, his movements from order to freedom, from dogma to experiment.
In the book, I analyze how Theo van Dusburg’s principles manifest themselves in a modern environment: the rhythm, modularity, and axial structures in my own projects.
