About
I’m an interface designer focusing on B2B products and complex digital systems.
My interests include information architecture, professional workflows, and designing clear, functional interfaces for data-intensive applications.
OpsBoard
Industrial equipment monitoring / Independent design concept
OpsBoard is a conceptual desktop application designed to support wind turbine monitoring and incident management.
The interface allows shift operators to monitor equipment conditions, investigate incidents, assign maintenance tasks, and track changes in operational status.
The project was developed independently as a design test assignment.

Prioritizing incidents
Challenge
A shift operator needs to distinguish critical equipment failures from less urgent deviations and scheduled maintenance events.
Design solution
I separated incident severity from workflow status to distinguish how urgent an issue is from how it is being handled.
Summary cards provide a high-level overview, while the table allows operators to inspect individual events and identify those requiring attention.
Maintaining context
I chose a contextual side panel to keep the incident list visible while operators inspect individual turbines.
Technical readings, detected issues, and recent activity are grouped within the panel, allowing users to move between the overview and detailed information without changing screens.
From incident to action
I integrated task assignment into the incident workspace rather than treating it as a separate process.
Operators can select specialists, define maintenance tasks, and set a deadline without leaving the current view.
Tracking maintenance
The maintenance view is organized around three levels of information: overall progress, individual tasks, and recent activity. This hierarchy helps operators understand the current state of maintenance while keeping individual actions visible.
From incident to resolution
The operational state shifts attention from active issues to current equipment conditions.
I kept the maintenance history accessible alongside updated technical readings, so the interface communicates not only the current status but also the actions that preceded it.
Key takeaways
OpsBoard explores how complex operational workflows can be organized within a single interface.
The project focuses on three design principles: clear information hierarchy, continuity between monitoring and action, and visibility of changing system states.
Together, these principles shaped an interface designed to support professional decision-making without unnecessary context switching.
