Hi! My name is Vlada and I’m a Multi-disciplinary Designer.

I specialize in conceptual editorial
design and artistic photography.
I focus on translating abstract ideas into
physical objects and unique printed books.

I work in the B2B sector, directly collaborating with creative agencies, design studios, art galleries, and independent publishers. My goal is to help niche conceptual brands and cultural institutions bring their innovative and fresh ideas to life through design.

Fractal Calendar

Multi‑page publication, Conceptual design

Concept

Time can be understood as a multitude of forms and states. In this calendar, it is revealed in a fractal structure. In the flow of time, the patterns of fractals grow, deform, and complete a full rotation of 360 degrees. This is how a different perception of the flow of time is formed — as a continuous movement of form and meaning.

Structure and Layout

The design is based on a strict system: year = 53 fractals, month = 4 fractals, days = iterations. One side of the page features fractal graphics, while the longer side displays the mathematical formula. The more detailed the fractal, the more complex the formula.

Physical Execution

This A5 calendar is bound with a single screw-post in the corner, allowing it to unfold into a full 360-degree circle to physically show the cycle of time and the growth of the fractal.

14 Ways to Lie

Exhibition Catalog, Editorial Design

Concept

The catalogue examines everyday objects as carriers of embedded falsehood — not accidental, but culturally normalized. It records objects that pretend to be something else in order to show how imitation becomes part of value, status, and comfort in modern everyday life.

Structure and Layout

The design system translates the categories of deception: lies of form, lies of color, and lies of material. I structured the layout to document the fake objects alongside philosophical quotes, using typography and visual contrasts to show the tension between the deceptive, superficial exterior of these items and their empty internal reality.

Physical Execution

This exhibition catalogue is a self‑contained art object with a conceptual cover that physically embodies the theme of imitation and material deception.

Original size 3467x1950

Concept

A modular font and a zine specimen, created based on my personal walking routes through the city, which is new to me. Since the city seems like an unfamiliar mass to me, these specific routes are lines that help me understand it. Based on these lines, I created a modular ruler, using which I created the font.

Physical embodiment

This spesimen, bound with a spiral, contains alternating full-size and half-size pages with photographs and letters that break up the gray background and create a dynamic visual rhythm.

Concept

A photozine about creative freedom and inspired photography, created over three months during which I constantly walked around with a camera. From thousands of everyday shots, this project presents 50 selected pairs of photographs that have an unexpected visual similarity in terms of shape, composition, lines, perspective, or light.

Process

After I shot everything that caught my attention, my friends and I selected 50 pairs of photographs with visual similarities. I paired the photos and added a short caption or comment to each one, describing what was happening off‑camera or around me at that moment.
