Hello, I’m Olga!
Communication designerI find one clear idea for a brand and grow it into
a whole system: logo, packaging, print, space and digital. 4th-year design student at HSE, based in Saint Petersburg, looking for a full-time role
in a branding team.

Hard skills — Brand identity and packaging, typography and layout, print-ready files, UI design, vector graphics, 2D and 3D visuals

Soft skills — Turning a brief into one clear idea, presenting and defending concepts, leading a project alone from research to final layouts, meeting deadlines on multi-part projects

Education — HSE University, Art & Design School. Communication Design, 2023–2027.

Problems I solve for brands

post

Problem 01. The product gets lost on the shelf.
→ Solution 02: A visual idea that stands out without shouting. Case: the actProblem 02. The brand falls apart across touchpoints.
→ Solution 02: One system for packaging, print, space and web. Case: METSAProblem 03. The brand has no story.
→ Solution 03: An image people remember and talk about. Case: Bricklabs

Who I work for

I work B2B: I help businesses win their customers.

Branding studios need a designer who can take a project on their own. I lead it from idea to print-ready layouts.
Product companies need their product to stand out and sell. I design packaging, ads and visuals that make people choose it.
Their customers need a reason to notice, trust and choose. They get design they trust and find easy to choose.

Not louder. Clearer.

Insight — I study the brand, its audience and competitors.

Idea — I find one image that makes the brand different.

System — I grow it into every touchpoint: packaging, print, space and digital.

The act | New Year’s packaging

post

Packaging · Campaign · Merch · Web

The Brief — The brand came to me because its packaging didn’t catch enough attention on the shelf. Its identity is minimal, and that had to stay.

The Idea — Attract not with louder colors, but with a fairy tale: frost on a window we all watched as kids.

The Solution — A minimal system that draws attention through magic and interaction: a frozen logo, three gift sets, a hidden wish under a tear strip, a frosted stand, a pop-up, posters, social media and a landing page.

The Outcome — Quiet, but impossible to miss. One idea became a whole campaign: from the box to the shelf, the street and the screen.

Metsa | Finnish knives

post

Product Design · Identity · Packaging · Personal project

The Brief — Finnish knives are a craft with a long history, but most brands look rustic and touristy. I wanted to show this craft in a modern way.

The Idea — Metsä means «forest» in Finnish. Calm Nordic nature translated into clean, simple forms, from the blade to the box.

The Solution — I designed the knife itself, its identity, packaging and a workshop poster: one minimal language for the product and everything around it.

The Outcome — A knife brand that keeps the craft and drops the cliché. One idea became a whole brand: from the blade to the box.

FireFly | Mobile app

post

Branding · UI Design · Mobile App · Personal project

The Brief — There was no hiking app like this on the market. Existing ones are either complex navigators full of data or plain maps with no atmosphere. Nothing makes the trail feel friendly, especially for beginners.

The Idea — One idea: fireflies lighting the way. Like a trail of small lights in the night forest, the app gently shows where to go next.

The Solution — The firefly runs through every part of the app:

The Outcome — A hike where the way lights up by itself. One idea became a whole product: from the logo to every screen.

— Route of lights: the trail on the map is a chain of glowing dots that light up as you walk.

— Checkpoints: rest stops, viewpoints and water sources glow brighter, so you never miss them.

— Friends on the trail: your hiking company appears on the map as fireflies, so no one gets lost.

— Signal light: one tap sends your location to friends if something goes wrong.

— Night forest interface: a dark, calm UI that saves battery and is easy on the eyes outdoors.

Typography

Books, visual research and a calendar

For me, typography is also one idea held together by a system: a grid, a type hierarchy and a rhythm that guide the reader from the first page to the last.
