On the other side is a series of 3D ghost figures that emerge from the subject’s space. I opted for a simplified, cartoonish style to move away from the classic scary ghost image and make the character lighter and more recognizable.
Sketches

The series builds upon the concept of the accidental typeface Canterville, translating its theme of ghostliness and disappearance into three-dimensional form. In the typeface, these ideas are conveyed through breaks, voids, and the letterforms themselves. The figurines allow the exploration of a single idea across various formats.

Character Concept:
A cartoon ghost; its design is intentionally stripped of complex details to make it versatile and easily adaptable across various objects and scenarios.Form Factor:
The core silhouette of each figurine remains the same—the ghost partially obscured by or emerging from an object. The character does not change; the setting (mirror/closet/door) changes.Series Development Principle:
The series is built on the principle of «one character—multiple environments.» Each new figurine showcases a different location where the ghost appears, maintaining the overall form, scale, and visual style. The series can evolve through new settings, color variations, and interior details.
