The poster was created for a jazz trio concert by Vyacheslav Gaivoronsky, Andrei Razin, and Pyotr Ivshin, held on September 30th at the «DOM» Culture Center. The visual concept is based on the idea of musical improvisation—one of the key principles of jazz—which I aimed to convey through composition and typography.

The poster creation process involved two stages. First, we listened to excerpts from the performances of Gaivoronsky and Razin to better understand the character of their music and selected photographs from personal archives. Then, we developed a compositional grid and printed the photographs along with the grid on colored paper.

A mandatory requirement of the project was the use of printed letters and phrases. I cut out the text elements and arranged them in a composition, combining different scales and typographic density. I used black strips of tape to unify the elements, mimicking the mounting of paper flyers. This gave the poster the appearance of street posters and a feeling of spontaneity, while preserving the structure and readability of the text.
