On October 16, 2026, the HSE Art and Design School hosted KLMNFEST—a festival of typography, lettering, and calligraphy. As part of the poster laboratory, I participated in creating a poster for the event.

Each participant received a word that needed to be conveyed through typography and composition. I was assigned «corrosion”—the process of gradual material degradation caused by environmental exposure.

In my work, I convey this process through the deformation of letters, uneven edges, and grainy texture. The text appears as if its surface is gradually disintegrating: the outlines lose clarity, and the familiar form of the letters becomes more chaotic. Thanks to the contrast between the dense black elements and the white space, the poster conveys a sense of wear and decay.
