On October 16, 2026, KLMNFEST—a festival of typography, lettering, and calligraphy—took place at the HSE Art and Design School. As part of the poster laboratory, I participated in creating a poster for the event.

The posters were created in an unusual way.
The assignment involved conducting a «poster relay,» where the source material (a white canvas with the required text printed on it) was passed from one student to the next. Each student had about 15 minutes, and during that time, they had to modify the previous poster, keeping about half of it while adding their own input to the other half.
Each student was also given a word to reflect in the poster. My word was «pressure.»
The work took place exclusively within the confines of a white background and the text provided by the instructor; everything else emerged from the black shapes of the letters through various adaptations of their plasticity and additional effects.
Thus, a series of posters emerged—unconventional, daring, and likely never having the chance to exist outside the scope of this assignment.
The «KLMNFEST» exhibition, which featured our posters, took place at the School, where lectures were also held.
