«Recently» — an artbook exploring where the boundaries of «self» lie when the personal inhabits shared spaces, and the real coexists with the digital.
Relevance
Personal boundaries are dissolving: we exist simultaneously in a room and a courtyard, in a city and online, and «was recently» has become a form of presence as tangible as «here.» This layering has become so familiar that it is almost invisible. The book restores its visibility.I am interested in where exactly I end and where «I was recently» begins.

Structure and Imagery
The book has no narrative plot; instead, it is composed of five thematic chapters. Each spread functions as a standalone visual statement.«Where Do I End?» — the body and the private boundary.
«The Other’s Own» — the personal within the collective: graffiti on a balcony, a bench where only you always sit.
«My Other’s» — the collective within the personal: neighbors across the wall, foreign voices in your headphones, shared group chats.
«Two Addresses» — simultaneous presence in both the real and digital spheres.
«Recently Been Here» — what remains of a presence once we are gone.
Approach. Visual Language
I am developing the visual language found in my zine, «NOVEMBER–DECEMBER»: ultramarine blue and white, linear graphics, photography, and interface elements. In the book, this evolves into a structure. Layers are physically separated—paper and tracing paper, image and its shadow, object and its digital copy. The reader overlays them themselves and decides where the boundary lies.

Positioning and Distribution
This is an авторский artbook, closely aligned with a visual philosophy. The key difference is that the narrative functions through form—the tracing makes the layering tangible. Distribution channels include self-publishing, zine fairs, museum gift shops, and social media, alongside collaborations with publishers.
Digital Layer and Interactivity
In AR, another digital layer appears over the spreads. The book exists simultaneously in two spaces—it becomes what it tells.
Project Status
The project is currently in the concept development stage, gathering references, and structuring. The theme and visual language were introduced in the «NOVEMBER–DECEMBER» zine.
