PIMCA—a series of miniature helper toys created as part of the «Cyberdeck» diploma project. The characters are integrated into the casing of the portable computer, mounting in a dedicated fixture on the device’s lid.
Concept
The project idea arose from an interest in the aesthetics of futurism and modern electronic devices. The concept is based on creating a series of miniature characters—assistants for a Cyberdeck—which symbolically manage its function. The characters’ imagery references past notions where inexplicable phenomena were attributed to the intervention of higher powers.
Visually, the characters resonate with the Cyberdeck casing’s design through a shared style, form, and color palette. They function not only as decorative elements but as an integral part of the device’s visual concept: the figures are mounted on a specialized attachment on the casing lid and can also be used as standalone figurines or keychains.
