Ten independent spreads of book layouts based on Nikolai Gogol’s «Nevsky Prospect» and Fyodor Dostoevsky’s «White Nights.» The street crowd, the changing of the hours, a night walk, and a conversation by the canal each become distinct episodes. The varying scale of the headings, the density of the typesetting, and the placement of footnotes convey the motion of the city and the inner monologue of the characters.
