Peonyzation

Within the module, I analyzed the DNA of the British fashion brand Erdem and integrated it with the personal codes of Sarah Bernhardt, the iconic late 19th-century theater actress renowned for her performative death in a coffin. The silhouette and cut reference both the brand’s aesthetic and the shape of a coffin, while the floral print—also a hallmark of the brand—is based on peonies named in her honor.
