«The Coast Line Paradox» is a sound escort for an exhibition of the same name held at the HES-2 in 2024. The exhibition was updated every three weeks, demonstrating the various facets of life of the peninsula.

1. Language’s on edge.
Italian is one of the indigenous languages of Kamchatki. It is translated into Russian as «living here». The tongue is now on the verge of extinction. The track is based on archival records collected during the Harvard University ' s Italian language expedition.

Life on Kamchatka is always accompanied by extreme conditions. Frequent earthquakes, wild animals that often reach people, create a constant expectation of danger. The risk of collision with nature is becoming one of the main features of life on the peninsula.

3. Kamchatka Island
