The project explores the Old Standard TT typeface through the aesthetics of newspaper printing. Large headlines, a «bursting» design, and the typographical aesthetic compel the viewer into the 19th and 20th centuries. The newspaper aesthetic is not a stylistic choice—it is a research methodology: it demonstrates that Old Standard TT is not simply a «beautiful old font, ” but a tool with a specific historical logic of typesetting.
