WINDOW

My grandmother’s house has rugs hanging on the walls. As a child, when I stayed over at her place, I would always examine the rug, searching for fantastic imagery. Intricate lines transformed into elephants, butterflies, people, chairs, and tables—the rug became an entire narrative.

In my project, I wanted to create a tapestry that was interesting to look at—a «window» into an imaginary world. I combined photos taken from windows: layering them on top of one another to create abstract images.
