Concept
This sock design was chosen because of the object’s pleasing proportions—the golden ratio. The pattern resembles a spiral that recedes into the depths. The yellow color on the sock conveys irony in the cross-section, since the term simply refers to the «golden» quality and is not used in the actual production or storage of gold.
