My medium is black and white line art, emphasizing hatching and expressiveness through the use of photo/photo effects.
In my work, I actively utilize hatching (vertical/cross-hatching), textures, and screen tones to create volume and depth.
Another crucial characteristic of my technique is the expressiveness of the lines. I intentionally make them varied—thin, sharp, curved, torn, heavy—because this better conveys character and tension. Furthermore, it introduces a certain dynamism!
White space is also crucial in my technique. I leave large, clean areas to enhance contrast and allow the «gritty» and dark hatching to breathe.
