Embodying the vibrant and childlike within the gray and adult.
Designing an original apron and scarf based on studying geolocation—The Bolshoi Puppet Theater.
This project is dedicated to the Bolshoi Puppet Theater as a reflection of the adult soul, within which a child—a bearer of a vibrant inner world—always lives. The core of the concept is the adult’s journey into the theater, seeking a forgotten sense of warmth, comfort, and security: the monumental exterior of the building and the muted appearance of the person contrast with the colorful, sincere childhood space inside. The puppets, glass beads, and colored details reveal this inner world, and the actors control the marionettes with numerous strings, much like a person manages their thoughts and complex inner life. Immersing oneself in the fairy-tale atmosphere helps recall the inner child, re-evaluate actions, and reveal the sincere side of the soul.
