Located on the banks of the Volga River is a textile plant founded in 1880 by merchants P. G. Mindovsky and I. A. Bakakin. The brickwork of the factory buildings formed the basis of the identity. Its rhythm is conveyed through a system of intersecting lines that evoke the interweaving of textile threads and fishing nets. Thus, the visual imagery unites the factory’s history, textile production, and the flourishing local fishing industry.
