Dacha
Dacha Vertye—one of the surviving buildings from the former Novogireevo dacha settlement, constructed in 1907. At various times, the building housed the district history museum and the naive art museum.

According to Yu.A. Bahrushin’s recollections, in the summer of 1907, the «old Torletsky allotted a portion of his estate to his son, known as Novoye Gereyevo. The young owner cleared paths through the ancient forest, hired carpenters, and began hastily constructing summer cottages to sort out the financial affairs that had been significantly disrupted by his father’s carelessness. The old noble manor began transforming into a suburban summer resort area. The pristine forest started to be shamelessly defiled by scraps of dirty newspaper, empty tin cans, eggshells, and other traces of human „culture.“»
Torletsky sought to regulate construction and the way of life on the territory. Plot purchasers accepted several obligations regarding maintaining order, landscaping, and the natural environment.
The «Dacha» Museum and Exhibition Center is a structural unit of the Museum of Russian Lubeck and Naive Art. It was established in 2015 by merging the Museum of Naive Art and the Moscow Museum of Folk Graphics. The collection features approximately 5,000 works, including pieces of Russian Lubeck, naive art, and outsider art. In addition to exhibiting, the center hosts numerous educational and interactive programs.
