Original soundtrack for the play «To Solovki,» running at the Theater on Lesnaya. The EP consists of 5 compositions presented in the album version.

All compositions were written during the play’s rehearsal period. After the premiere, they were reassembled into an album format. From the nine theatrical tracks, five compositions were selected for the album version—pieces that can be experienced independently of the performance. The fundamental difference between the theatrical and album versions is the track length. The theatrical versions were tailored to fit specific scenes and can reach up to 10 minutes.

Since this is not an immersive, documentary performance, the soundscape is permanently occupied by text. This constraint imposes specific compositional rules. The music must not overpower the text, nor should it disappear entirely. Finding this balance was the main compositional challenge of this work.
