The human body is in constant flux. Many of the processes occurring within it are outside of our control—its metamorphoses can evoke the entire spectrum of emotions, whether that be sadness, anxiety, awe, or curiosity. We can also view these processes from another perspective—by comparing them to the natural, botanical metamorphoses to which we are accustomed, which we tend to regard as a natural marvel.

Through the combination of plant textures and photography of the living body, I aim to convey a sense of unity with nature and offer the viewer an experience of safely observing vulnerable processes of external transformation. The use of neural networks in creating graphics simultaneously illustrates the unpredictability of metamorphosis while visually «disarming» the element of anxiety through digital aesthetics.
