The foundation of the rebranding was the previously developed project for the MENDLY atelier—a workshop for clothing repair and alteration. The original concept, the «snipper» image, and the industrial aesthetic have been retained in the updated corporate style, complemented by textured graphics and the atmosphere of an old factory.

The foundation of the original project’s graphics is the snipper—a small spring-loaded tool used for quickly trimming threads, indispensable during clothing construction.
His signature silhouette became the main graphic element of the identity, and the textures of fabric, ink, and paper formed the basis of the brand style.
The updated graphics retained the brand’s core symbol—shears for snipping threads—but made it more expressive by increasing the scale, simplifying the shapes, and adding a distressed print effect. Torn lines, splatters, and uneven black spots were added to create a feeling of handmade quality and aged typography.
Prompt: «Based on these images, create an example graphic that can be used as a background element for design materials. I think our graphic should be black and white and minimalist, composed of these elements. Redo the logo using the first linear graphic approach, but give it a rough texture fill while keeping the sharp corners of the snippet.»

Key visuals are the core elements through which the brand’s identity is revealed. For MENDLY, a snippet, a material storage pencil case, a thread set, a wall organizer, and a garment care kit were developed.
Mendly Snipper
The signature snip is the atelier’s core tool and a central element of the brand’s visual identity. Its recognizable silhouette is used not only on the item itself but also in packaging design, transforming a functional tool into an independent, branded product. It symbolizes Mendly’s philosophy: repairing, extending the life of objects, and valuing craftsmanship.
Prompt: Design packaging for a snips/cutter featuring a transparent plastic insert molded to the shape of the tool. Use craft cardboard, black graphics depicting the snips/cutter, the mendly logo, and a distressed print effect. Maintain the overall identity style. The design must be based on the original graphics.
Sewing Tool Pouch
This textile pouch is designed for the convenient storage and transport of tools needed for clothing repair. The interior is decorated with branded graphics and labels that indicate where each item should be kept. This transforms the pouch from a mere accessory into a thoughtfully designed system for organizing the workflow.
Prompt: Create a fabric pencil case for storing sewing materials. The case should be made from a dense, textured fabric resembling craft paper, incorporating elements of the original graphics. Display the mendly logo on the exterior, and include internal pockets for tools and graphic depictions of sewing accessories. Add black elastic bands for securing items.
Sewing Thread Set
The thread set combines practical utility with Mendly’s signature aesthetics. The variety of shades allows you to choose the perfect thread for mending various fabrics, and the uniform design of the spools and packaging makes even ordinary consumables part of the brand identity. This is a foundational product directly connected to the operations of a tailoring workshop.
Prompt: Develop a set of threads in craft packaging featuring mendly’s brand graphics and logo. Use natural thread shades, black prints, and distressed textures. The packaging should look like an integrated part of the brand’s overall identity.
Wall Organizer
This wall organizer helps maximize the workspace of studios where tools, materials, and spools of thread can quickly create clutter. The pocket system allows you to categorize your supplies, keep them within reach, and maintain order in your work area. The signature print transforms this utilitarian item into a striking feature of the atelier’s interior design.
Prompt: Design a wall organizer made from thick beige fabric with pockets for storing sewing tools. Incorporate the mendly brand graphic, an image of a snipper, thread, and other accessories. Maintain a combination of craft tones and black distressed graphics.
Clothing Care Kit
This set combines the necessary tools for regular garment upkeep, helping to extend the life of your favorite pieces. Brushes, cleaning agents, and other accessories are designed in the unified Mendly style, making daily care an extension of the brand’s philosophy. The kit expands the offerings of the atelier and supports the idea of mindful consumption: caring for your items instead of replacing them prematurely with new ones.
Prompt: Design a laundry care set in a craft box featuring the Mendly logo and brand graphics. Inside, include brushes, a wipe, fabric care products, and other necessary accessories. Utilize natural materials, beige tones, and black graphics in a cohesive brand style.
MENDLY merch extends the workshop’s visual language beyond its physical space. This includes practical items for work and daily life: tote bags, hoodies, and mugs. Natural tones, the texture of craft paper, black graphics with signs of wear, and the recognizable silhouette of a snipper create a cohesive brand identity.
Prompt: Suggest merchandise options for our brand, and then develop mockups based on the chosen options and our identity. Use the logo, the snipper graphic, a black-and-beige color palette, and distressed textures. The merchandise must look like an integral part of the brand’s visual identity.

The merchandise conveys the atmosphere of an old industrial loft—manual labor and a workshop where items aren’t discarded but are given a second life. It not only serves a practical function but also helps build a community around MENDLY, making the philosophy of conscious consumption a part of everyday life.
