The camera’s sensor absorbs light rays from the outside—is it possible that the captured form is precisely the form we perceived? What if the whole thing we observe in ordinary photographs is merely an artificial construct meticulously created by the camera for the viewer? Experiments with form and optics are an attempt to restore the photographic medium to its unique essence. To capture everything in front of the lens, but in front of the lens is the next sensor… A rejection of deference to the everyday perception of the layperson. There is no proof that we see objects as they truly are; this project resists conventional visual patterns. The created forms are contained within the situation of the formation (decomposition) of a whole made up of: — structure; — light; — shadow, under the influence of an additional instrument.

The «vision» effect combined with the mechanical gaze reveals that there are many worlds within one—worlds we can only access through our own living, overflowing, and imaginative bodies.
The ability to re-construct the image of reality. By creating boundaries within the image that transition from reality to hyperreality.
The structures of the matrix intertwine with the urban fabric and architecture, creating a fractal pattern.

I play with the camera, and the camera plays with me…
Accidental spontaneity, which is actually a clearly constructed concept.
Each scene was captured at the moment the shutter button was pressed.
Contact printing—a process where an image captured by a digital camera is displayed on a monitor and then re-photographed from the monitor itself… A monitor with a relatively low resolution and a narrow field of view is chosen. This process results in an effect of partial solarization and optical moiré on the monitor.
The foundation of this project is the historical district of St. Petersburg—Rzhevka. Powder factories were built in the vicinity of Rzhevskaya Sloboda. This led to the creation of the Porokhovy area and the streets Kapsyulnoye Shosse, 1-ya Zhernovskaya, 2-ya Zhernovskaya, etc.

Always searching for beauty in the simple and unassuming reality. But this is already a hyperreality that becomes REALITY for the viewer. Because everything captured in a photograph is a DOCUMENT.
I personally cannot find the line where my state changes.

Inna’s name has been carved into this bench with a pocketknife.
