Cover Design Brief: Frame the topic as a question or a problem we will be solving.
Formulate the theme as a comprehension challenge: what exactly will we be clarifying? The cover should promise a path to an answer, not merely be a «story about the topic.» It is crucial that the viewer understands why this question holds practical significance.
Step 2. Question
Зафиксировать, что именно неизвестно и почему это не тривиально
Formulate your question precisely and define its boundaries—what is included and what is excluded. Demonstrate why the answer is not obvious—due to contradictions, perceptual illusions, or divergent interpretations. The clearer the question, the easier the path to a solution will be understood.
Step 3. Clarification
Провести аудиторию по логике, которая снимает неопределённость
Move toward the answer step-by-step, with each step clarifying and reducing uncertainty. Show which facts, definitions, or models are necessary to advance. It is helpful to document intermediate conclusions—this makes the logic reproducible and reduces cognitive load.
Step 4. Answer
Дать ясный ответ и показать, из чего он следует
Formulate a concise and unambiguous answer, then elaborate on it using a clear model or formula. Demonstrate how the answer is derived from the clarification steps—this maintains credibility and enhances the learning effect. Be sure to define the boundaries of applicability so that the answer does not sound like universal «magic.»
Step 5. Final
Закрепить логику решения и помочь перенести её на новые задачи
Document not only the answer but also the pathway to it in the form of a brief diagram or checklist. Give the audience a way to test their understanding: ask a question, assign a mini-task, or apply the concept to a different example. The conclusion must enable participants to reproduce the logic without your charisma or the original slides.
