LOTUS BAG — an original handbag inspired by the shape of the lotus flower. The core concept of this project is to create a functional accessory where the natural motif forms the foundation of the structure and its expressive silhouette.
Bag Sketches
The technical sheet includes five main views of the bag—front, side, back, top, and interior—specifying dimensions of 28 × 22 × 8 cm, a handle height of 13 cm, and key structural elements: petals, decorative stitching, handle attachments, zipper, and lining.
The bag features a multi-layered lotus-shaped body with voluminous petals, an inner base, lining, an upper zipper closure, and a rigid handle attached to metal rings; the leather or eco-leather components are joined with saddle stitching, and the petal edges are finished and reinforced with stabilizers when necessary.
Materials: pink leather or eco-leather, lining fabric, padding material for shaping. Hardware: metal zipper, rings for handle attachment, handle mounts, matching thread, and reinforcements for the base and fixtures, if necessary.
