CONCEPT
«Meeting Line"—a jewelry collection dedicated to the Kolka Peninsula in Latvia, where the waters of the open Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Riga converge.
The project is based on the interaction of two directions of movement. Relief lines draw near, overlap each other, and form a unified ridge. The layered surface resembles sandy shoals and watermarks on the shore.
The contrast between the matte texture and the smooth, polished line underscores the depth of the relief. As the jewelry turns, light and shadow shift, creating a sense of motion.
The ring, pendant, and bracelet are unified by a common design principle, becoming an artistic interpretation of the meeting of two aquatic spaces.
SKETCHES

JEWELRY

The ring is inspired by the convergence of two aquatic spaces near Kolka Cape. Its asymmetrical surface is formed by stepped layers reminiscent of shoreline lines and sandbars. A polished, undulating line crosses the matte texture, signifying the movement of water. The layers gradually transition into the ring’s smooth base, unifying the natural texture with a fluid form.

The open bracelet evokes the landscape of the Kolka Peninsula. Wide, curved surfaces are intersected by uneven, layered contours that resemble water marks on sand. A smooth, polished line dictates the direction of movement, connecting the individual relief levels. The contrast between matte and polished silver emphasizes the depth of the surface.

The elongated, asymmetrical form of the pendant resembles a cape jutting out into the sea. The layered relief conveys the gradual change of the coastline, while the cutouts introduce void space into the composition. A polished silver line runs along the surface, becoming an image of converging currents. The matte texture intensifies the contrast with its smooth sheen.
