The project explores the inner world of a person through the objects they carry with them daily. A bag becomes a kind of extension of the self—a personal space reflecting a person’s habits, interests, needs, lifestyle, and individual choices.

Some objects have a practical function, while others are connected to work, hobbies, memories, or emotional attachments. Together, they form a unique portrait of the owner—often a more personal and immediate depiction than the image a person presents to the outside world.

Within the «Friends' Bags» project, the bags of friends and acquaintances become objects of study. Items removed from these bags are transferred into graphic images by creating impressions. Sculptural clay is rolled into a flat layer onto which the items from the bag are pressed. The surface is then covered with printing ink and transferred onto paper. The resulting impression retains the shapes, relief, and texture of the objects, forming a unique graphic composition.
