This publication celebrates the tenth anniversary of Long Fashion Weekend. It is a cultural and educational project that has spent ten years developing the local fashion industry of the Urals, supporting young designers, and building a community around fashion, art, and urban culture.
The project documents the festival’s history through key events, participants, and the cultural context.

The yellow color references the 2024 event’s identity, the motif of which was nostalgia for past fashion trends.
The visual language is built on collage, cutouts, and a handcrafted assembly effect, creating a sense of tactility and materiality. The book is perceived as an archive compiled from the festival’s visual layers.
2024 became a time of re-evaluation and maturity. In global fashion, trends emphasizing quiet luxury, craftsmanship, locality, and conscious consumption intensified, while AI became integrated into creative processes.
The material is structured chronologically, beginning with the very first festival and progressing through key events that defined its history.
Dotted lines symbolize the festival’s journey across a decade
2015 marked a turning point for the region’s fashion industry. Old hierarchical formats gave way to new media and digital tools, and social networks began to change the rules of promotion and communication in fashion.
2020 was a year of adaptation. The pandemic shifted focus toward themes of health, sustainable development, local communities, and the search for new modes of interaction, and fashion became a tool for discussing humanity, nature, and the future.
