Concept
Ancient Greece in a Contemporary Reading
Inspiration: Historical prototype—the ancient symposium. In ancient Greece, there was a culture of the symposium—a shared banquet accompanied by wine, conversation, music, and entertainment. Participants could lounge on specialized couches arranged around a common space. This tradition provides the project with a historical foundation for creating relaxation zones featuring low furniture, communal seating, and a focus on social interaction.
