Fontane — a desk lamp/nightlight that simulates the operation of a musical fountain using digital light instead of water. The lamp serves as a brand object: a music school for conductors of dancing/singing fountains.
The object was created in Blender.
The lamp has three modes: Nightlight (static multi-color glow, all tubes are filled to 100% height), Music Mode (starts music playback. The lamp analyzes frequencies, and the light dynamically fills the tubes at 30%, 60%, or 100%), and Off (complete lamp shutdown).
The lamp images were generated in ChatGPT.
A digital version has been created of the physical lamp. This website is built on graphics from TouchDesigner and is adapted for any device type. Here, the user becomes a light conductor. Clicks with the cursor launch circles that spread across the screen like ripples on water.
You can also upload your own track. The interface responds to sound—it automatically analyzes frequencies and rhythmic triggers, generating waves in sync with the beat. In this mode, user-generated wavetables are locked.
