«As Strong as Steel» Project Concept
The «Strong as Steel» lamination continues the concept of the final project: a digital product for logging workouts and analyzing physical progress.
The project is founded on the metaphor of steel—a material associated with strength, endurance, and resistance to stress. Just as metal acquires its necessary properties through processing, a person builds strength through consistent training, discipline, and the gradual overcoming of personal limits.
The composition of three photographs conveys the intensity of the training process, and the sense of motion emphasizes its continuity. The phrase «Strong as Steel, ” divided into three parts, unifies the images into a single statement about physical and internal development.
The glossy acrylic surface enhances the association with metal, while the light reflections and concealed mounting create a sense of depth and dynamism.
Thus, the lamination visualizes the core idea of the digital product: progress is built from sequential actions, each of which makes a person stronger.
