EXTREMES — a show by the Russian brand ZA_ZA, dedicated to the two opposing facets of a person’s character—black and white. These are the forces that govern consciousness at the moment of choice. Ultimately, the individual decides which direction to take.
Each aspect is embodied by mythological bird figures. The Syrinx is a messenger of sorrow and grief. The eyes of the maiden-bird are perpetually filled with tears; she was created to mourn human suffering. The Alkonost, conversely, embodies joy. She is full of life, ready to embrace the entire world with her white wings.
