EVENT ANALYSIS CHECKLIST
Introduction

On June 17, 2026, the international summer film festival KARO/ART, themed this year around the concept of «(en)lightenment, ” opened at the Oktyabr cinema on Novy Arbat. The festival annually showcases premieres of independent cinema, special screenings, and Q&A sessions with directors, actors, and film critics. In 2026, it will run from June 17 to June 21 across six cities in Russia, with Oktyabr traditionally serving as the main venue.
The central event of the evening was the premiere of György Pálfi’s film, The Chicken. Following the screening, an online meeting with the director was organized.
I attended the event as a spectator, so this analysis is built around my personal user experience—from the moment I learned about the event to the conclusion of the discussion after the screening.
