CONCEPT
PERFORATED — a chest of drawers inspired by the dopamine aesthetic combined with mid-century modern design
Project idea: transforming a conventional storage piece of furniture into a vibrant interior accent.
The Dopamine style manifests in the bright red color and the slightly naive pattern of the facade perforation, while the elongated proportions of the body, simple geometry, and use of wood are derived from mid-century design.
The chest of drawers doesn’t strive to be vibrant in every aspect. Rather, its relatively calm form allows the focus to rest on a few details—the red color and the four-leaf clover perforation.
