Concept annki approached us with the task of developing new furniture concepts based on the signature clover shape (clover 2.0), moving beyond existing designs of benches and stools.
The project expands clover from a «product form» into a cross-cutting design code—a language applicable across various scales and materials: from armchairs to hardware and carpet texture. The core principle is replicability: these are not art objects, but serial solutions crafted from the brand’s existing materials, ready for production within the current brand cycle.

The Challenge A strong form only works for a brand when it is seen frequently and across multiple touchpoints. As long as the clover is tied to just two collectible items, it remains an effective accent, but it doesn’t build a sustainable association of «this form equals annki.» Furthermore, expressive forms in the market often come at the expense of practicality: the brighter the object, the more difficult it is to mass-produce. Maintaining both recognizability and reproducibility—that is the key challenge.

Before developing the pieces, I analyzed the brand’s material palette and consciously limited myself to it: wood, metal, plastic, and carpet fiber.
COLLECTION OBJECTS
The core of the collection. A chair in which the form of a petal is interpreted in the very structure of the back and seat—four petals fold into a soft, embracing volume.

The clover pillow for the armchair: the same form in soft textile supports the design code at the accessory level and offers an upsell scenario.
annki now works with interchangeable covers (the plus sofa skin lineup) and with fur textures in its projects. This collection continues the existing logic: an interchangeable fur cover has been developed for the clover armchair, matching the texture the brand uses in its installations.
The cover changes the character of the item without replacing the chair itself—one object, two moods. This is a direct response to the brand value that «design remains relevant»: the item adapts to the season and interior, rather than becoming obsolete.

A clover shape, scaled down to the detail level. annki’s signature colored furniture knobs offer a subtle accent that transforms any case piece into part of the clover system. Minimal intervention, maximum recognizability.
An additional layer could involve a collaboration with recycle object (items made from recycled plastic): the same pens crafted from eco-friendly materials. This expands the design language toward sustainability and gives the brand a mission relevant to both B2C and B2B markets.

Clover-shaped faucet/mixer flywheel, painted metal in the brand’s signature colors. It adds a touch of lightness and whimsy to a strict interior, looks fresh, and expands the concept of the clover beyond furniture—into plumbing and environmental details.
