Why Aether?In ancient Greek mythology, Aether was the highest, purest, and clearest layer of air where the gods lived. Later, in classical philosophy, it was perceived as a special quintessence alongside earth, water, air, and fire. Aristotle, for instance, believed that celestial bodies were composed of aether—it is eternal, unchanging, and moves in circular trajectories.
The collection is inspired by the transparent, ethereal, almost divine effect of the aether. Velvet ribbons and precious stones add elegance and prestige.
The tights are made from a blend incorporating the benefits of polyamide, which provides durability, alongside elastane for its elasticity.
The combination of blue and white evokes a symbiosis of water and air. Yellow and green connect us to the element of earth, warmed by the sun. Red and brown represent the phenomena of fire and a blazing campfire. All three combinations originate from the four classical elements as a manifestation of the fifth element.
