Description

The project is a startup of modular furniture for the home and workspace, born from the concept of the «Horizontal Revolution.» The brand is based on the principle of horizontal architecture: individual planes and volumes connect to form adaptable structures that users can tailor to various needs. The line includes organizers, lighting fixtures, shelves, and decorative objects, all unified by a visual language inspired by Constructivism and the architectural ideas of El Lissitzky.

Image Production Process
The visual system for the HORIZ startup was developed based on the previous project, «Horizontal Revolution.» The source materials included renders of the exhibition space, architectural blueprints, and elements from the initial brand identity. The core visual principles were extracted from the old project: horizontality, modularity, a combination of burgundy, dark blue, and light neutral backgrounds, as well as constructivist geometry. ChatGPT, using the GPT-5.6 Sol model, was employed to develop the concept, brand structure, and compose prompts. Image generation and successive refinement were carried out via ChatGPT Images. The current version of ChatGPT utilizes a new generation of Images models; OpenAI separately details the current ChatGPT Images 2.5 system.
Workflow Sequence
- Initial Project Analysis.
First, the architecture and graphics of the «Horizontal Revolution» project were analyzed. The basis for the new system was established using the original project’s horizontal structures, plane intersections, modular grid, and color scheme.2. Startup Concept Formation.
The original exhibition idea was transformed into a brand of modular home and workspace items. The main products included shelves, desk organizers, lamps, stands, and decorative modular objects.3. Creation of the Core Product Image.
The initial generation served as the visual prototype for the entire future line. Once created, this image became an additional reference point for subsequent generations, allowing for the standardization of item shapes, materials, and the color system.4. Key Visual Generation.
Different scenarios were developed for the same product family: studio product photography, workspace setting, residential interior, close-ups of materials, and a more graphic advertising composition. For every new prompt, the core product image was used as an anchor reference.5. Merchandising Development.
The brand’s visual system—its modular graphics and signature colors—was transferred to three items: a shopper bag, a notepad and pen set, and a collection of wooden modules.
Space Creation. The initial version of the space was too decorative and resembled a showroom. After evaluating the outcome, the prompt was revised: instead of a marketplace, a small production workshop was selected. A building facade, assembly area, and packaging area were created separately. This became an example of iteratively adjusting the result by modifying the task within the prompt.
Identity Development. For the new brand, a name—HORIZ—was developed, along with a new symbol, logo, color palette, and typography system. The old identity was not copied directly; only the principle of horizontality and modular geometry was retained.
Promotional Materials. Based on the completed identity, standalone advertising posters were created. Initially, the images were tested in mockups, after which clean versions without any mockups were generated for subsequent use in presentations and further layout design.
Prompt Examples
- Core Product Line
Create a clean, polished hero image for a presentation about a contemporary design startup that creates modular objects for home and workspace. Use the architecture of the original project as visual inspiration: horizontality, modularity, and Constructivist geometry. Depict a refined family of modular products arranged as an editorial still life: a desk organizer, small table lamp, modular shelf, book stand, and sculptural tower. The products should feel like miniature horizontal skyscrapers made from stacked horizontal planes and vertical supports. Palette: deep navy blue, burgundy red, warm white, and soft gray. Minimal neutral background, subtle realistic shadows, soft studio lighting, premium industrial-design quality. No people, no text.02. Key Visual—Entire Line
Maintain the same modular product line and style: constructivist-inspired home and workspace objects featuring strong horizontal planes, clean geometric volumes, and materials in burgundy red, deep navy, and cream. Showcase the entire product family arranged on stepped plinths, resembling a premium advertising campaign image. Refined soft lighting, elegant shadows, realistic 3D rendering, balanced and spacious composition. No text.03. Key Visual—Workspace
Retain the same modular product family, shapes, proportions, materials, and color palette. Show the products within a contemporary workspace: a desk organizer on a clean desk, a book stand with a notebook, a modular table lamp turned on, and a portion of the shelving system in the background. The setting should be aspirational, calm, and architectural, illuminated by soft daylight. High-end realistic render, no people, no text.

07. Tote Bag
Generate a premium studio product shot of a thick, natural-canvas tote bag for HORIZ. Incorporate constructivist-inspired horizontal burgundy bands, dark navy vertical elements, and a subtle modular grid. Use a warm cream fabric, minimal geometric branding, realistic textile texture, elegant studio lighting, and an architectural background. Do not include large readable text.08. Notebook
Generate a premium hardcover sketchbook for designers, paired with a matching pen. The warm cream linen cover should feature restrained constructivist graphics: burgundy horizontal elements, navy accents, and a subtle modular grid. The branding should be minimal, elegant, and architectural, featuring realistic paper and fabric textures.09. Modular Set
Generate a collectible modular wooden block set for HORIZ. The natural wood blocks should have selected faces painted burgundy and dark navy, assembled into a small, horizontal skyscraper-like composition. Include a refined cream, burgundy, and navy storage box. The aesthetic should be inspired by museum design, featuring warm studio light and a clean composition.
Production Space
10. Workshop — Facade
Create a realistic, understated exterior visualization of a small production workshop for a startup making modular objects for home and workspace. Simple modern industrial facade, large windows, one loading door, and one entrance. Cream concrete walls, muted burgundy-red and dark navy steel details. Calm daylight, clear, readable architecture—practical and professional rather than decorative.11. Workshop — Assembly Area
Create an interior view of the same production workshop. Preserve cream walls, navy steel window frames and columns, muted burgundy accents, and an exposed industrial ceiling. Show an organized small-batch assembly area with workbenches, shelves stocked with components, stacked wood and painted parts, simple tools, and several half-assembled modular products. The scene should be believable, practical, and uncluttered.12. Workshop — Packaging
Create a second interior view of the same workshop showing the finishing, quality-control, and packaging area. Include long, clean tables, open shelving, cardboard boxes, wrapping materials, labels, finished lamps, organizers, and small shelf units ready for packing. The mood should convey calm workflow—a functional production space under simple daylight, devoid of showroom styling.

13. HORIZ Brand Board
Create a clean brand identity presentation board for the startup HORIZ. Warm light beige background. Top left: MAIN LOGO. Top right: five color swatches with hex codes:

#182238, #191919. Center: large, thin, modern wordmark HORIZ. Above it, create an abstract geometric symbol made of two long horizontal bars and one vertical support, evoking a horizontal skyscraper, modular shelf, and the letter H. Under the logo: «modular objects studio.» Bottom left: small typography sample. Minimal, architectural, premium, and presentation-ready.Prompting Methodology
