HALO, visual 01 revolves around the image of enclosure and vulnerability. The character is seated, huddled, and hiding their face, as if trying to shrink and shield themselves from the surrounding space. Blue hair, wings, and a musical symbol add a touch of innocence, referencing childhood and purity, yet the pose itself remains anxious and tense. The contrast between the soft, almost toy-like aesthetic and the sense of internal confinement forms the foundation of the piece.
The glossy acrylic surface enhances the sense of artifice, visually transforming the photograph into an independent object.
This work was created as part of the diploma project «Development of a Comprehensive Visual Campaign for a Music Release» and serves as one of the physical carriers of the HALO album’s visual system.
