Concept
The tapestry, «Inner Trace, ” explores how past experiences leave an invisible imprint on a person’s internal state. The foundation is the traditional tartan—a symbol of order and history. In this project, its recognizable grid is deconstructed: it tears, shifts, and disintegrates, giving way to chaotic, „scar-like“ layers of deep dark tones. Through deformation, the distortion of geometry, and the „breaks“ in the jacquard threads, what is hidden within emerges, transforming psychological scars into a tangible physical form.
