My tapestry featuring the horn was based on my initial project. I developed the original idea and translated it into a textile form while maintaining a connection to the previous work.
I was inspired by the antlers due to their unusual shape, smooth curves, and natural symmetry. They combine fragility and strength, organic quality and expressiveness. I was interested in how their branching structure resembles tree lines and natural patterns. Through the imagery of antlers, I wanted to convey humanity’s connection to nature—its beauty and mystery. This motif struck me as expressive and suitable for realization in a tapestry, where the texture, threads, and form can emphasize the unique characteristics of a natural object.
