About the Project
The project is based on a seamless pattern element for a scarf, which was created last year in the fourth module as part of an art practice project.

Pattern element from last year’s project

Concept
The tapestry is conceived as a product for people who dislike trips to the countryside where mosquitoes immediately bite you upon arrival, or encounters with elk emerging from the forest, or a river where you cannot bathe and from which you can never truly wash off.
For people who aren’t drawn to outdoor leisure activities and don’t find them appealing, there is no inherent objection to connecting with nature, and they certainly appreciate beauty. However, it is much more comfortable and pleasant for them to interact with nature from a distance—for example, from a wooden deck or through a car window. Even better—through the window of a cottage designed exactly like an urban apartment, or via a tapestry that can be displayed in an apartment. In this way, nature is nearby, and there is no need to drive to a cabin.
In order to transfer the pattern element onto a fabric substrate, I slightly altered the image by reconfiguring its composition.
