Tapestry «History in Detail»

The tapestry was created in the spirit of my thesis animation film, «Frisson, ” and represents a composite image of its artistic world. The main characters are positioned at the center of the composition, surrounded by ornamental patterns. The decorative elements serve as a subtle nod to the plot, conveying its individual motifs through visual details. The inspiration came from Ivan Bilibin’s book illustration, with its characteristic combination of figurative imagery and rich ornamental framing.
