The work began with an original acrylic painting illustrating birch trees.

When converting the image to a textile format, I adapted it to the technical capabilities of the tapestry: I simplified the color gradients, enlarged the details, reduced the color palette, and changed the format to allow for the production of a tapestry measuring 204 × 146 cm.
