Photo Series: «When the City Sleeps»
This photo series explores the starry sky, which appears differently in the photographs than to the naked eye. To capture faint stars, I used a long exposure: the camera remained open for several tens of seconds, collecting light. For this, I mounted it on a tripod and used a remote control to prevent blurring. In one frame, the exposure lasted about 10 minutes—during this time, the stars left light trails, clearly illustrating the apparent motion of the sky caused by the Earth’s rotation.
