Photo Project «In Transit.» We have forgotten how to simply be present. We enter the subway and immediately pull out our phones to fill every spare second. We are always rushing somewhere, but in reality, we are simply passing by our own lives. My project is about this lost time. In the center of every frame is the same girl. Around her, the crowd buzzes and rushes. And only she is unhurried. With this project, I want to remind people how important it is sometimes to put the phone away, to stop running, and just look around—to look up at the sky.
I took and edited all the photographs. While working on the project, I sourced the model, selected the look, found suitable subway stations, and arranged the shoot with the press center of the St. Petersburg Metro using professional equipment.
