The goal of these shots is to explore color. I chose the Mosaic Courtyard in St. Petersburg as my location—it is a magical place. The numerous bright fragments scattered throughout the courtyard shift the mood of the images. Most intriguing is watching how people become a part of this large-scale art object.

In the first frame, through the blurred silhouette of a running child and bright colors, the dynamism and lightness of the moment are felt. The second shot is more austere. It is built on contrast—the model in black clothing stands out against the red structure. The frames excellently convey the magic of this place.
